Please note that we recommend NOT to take the seminar
in the first semester of your master program!
And as we do not expect any student, we keep the option of bundling the seminar
with another course.
Overview
During the course, we will read and discuss up
to two major pieces to be handed out during the first session.

Jan. 08, Jan 22, (both '16),
In total max. 5 out of 6 dates to be selected, detailed information during the semester.

Grading
Grading will be based on
Pre-Assignment (40%)
Final Assignment (60%)
Students receiving a final grade of 4,0 or better will be awarded 6 Credit Points ('Leistungspunkte').

Summarize each of the following 10 chapters in
about 300 words each and write a thoughtful essay of about 1000 words comparing
the messagses and the lines of yrguments of Rifkin and Shirky (in the books
mentioned)
(1) Rifkin, Chapters 1, 11, 12, 13, 15
and (2) Shirky, Chapter 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 BEFORE the 1st session. We
will discuss those chapters in the first session.
Students can get the books online any time ... And we will provide you with those chapters by eMail after having forwarded your course registration (see below) to the WiSo-PA on Oct. 23, '15.
(The approval of the registration by the WiSo-PA makes it binding in terms of credits and 'Maluspunkte'.)
